THEME: CHAIN REACTIONS
THE KNIGHTS IN THE GAME ENGAGE IN 2 VS 2 MELEE COMBAT AND CHAIN ATTACK COMBOS OF VARYING LENGTHS AGAINST EACH OTHER. THEY DODGE AND COUNTER ATTACKS AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER AFTER AN ENEMY KNIGHT HAS LANDED A HIT. ONCE PER TURN THE PLAYER (AND THE ENEMY) CAN ACTIVATE AN ATTACK BOOST WHOSE EFFECT STRENGTH DEPENDS ON THE LENGTH OF THE ATTACK CHAIN AT THE TIME OF ACTIVATION. THIS ADDS A STRATEGIC COMPONENT TO THE GAMEPLAY, BECAUSE THE PLAYER HAS TO DECIDE WHETHER THEY SHOULD ACTIVATE THE BOOST EARLY ON OR WAIT UNTIL THE CHAIN HAS BECOME LONGER FOR A HIGHER DAMAGE BOOST.
